View a patient's profile
Overview
This flow describes how to open the profile of a patient in Care. The profile shows the patient's demographic, contact, and clinical information in tabs.
Pre-requisites
- The patient is registered in Care.
- You find the patient through a search, or you open the patient from an Encounter, an Appointment, or another clinical record of that patient.
- You have the permissions listed below.
Permissions
| Permission | Access |
|---|---|
| Can view clinical data about patients | Open the patient's profile and the Clinical History tab. |
| Can list patients | See the Encounters tab. A permission to list encounters also gives this access. |
| Can view questionnaire responses on patient | See the Questionnaire Updates tab. |
| Permission to view appointments | See the Appointments tab. |
Note: Some deployments relax the check for clinical data. Your access to the profile can depend on your deployment's configuration.
